Dr. Mrutyunjaya Mishra
son of Iswar Chandra Mishra is presently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Hearing Impairment, Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He has completed his graduation from Utkal University and Post Graduation in Economics from Berhmpur University, Odisha. He has completed his B.Ed Hearing Handicapped degree from Calcutta University and M.Ed Special Education from Mysore University. He has obtained P-h.D. degree from University of Rajasthan.
He has a long experience of 17+ years in the field of Disability Rehabilitation. His main area of interest is capacity building for Inclusive Education, Neurological Aspects of Deafness and Technological Intervention for Students with Special Needs and Developing Modules for Manpower in the field of Hearing Impairment.
He has published more than 15 papers in the National and International journals. He has published a book 'Creating an Inclusive School in Hindi for B.Ed General Education. He has also written modules for teachers in Inclusive Education and for learners in Open and Distance Learning.
He is an expert committee member in Rehabilitation Council of India for various course curriculums. He is a part of developing Pre Degree Certificate programme for Deaf Students under Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh to facilitate Intermediate programme for Deaf as a bridge to higher education. He has also been part of various committees for the appointments of Persons with Disabilities in various Government Jobs. Last year he has sensitized the Army personnel in the Central Command (Agra, Meerut, Bareilly, Jabalpur and Danapur). He is also associated with National Convention of Educators of the Deaf-India and various disability associations in India.
